1 Who we are

Owlvix Rice runs this website. We sell rice wholesale and buy munji (paddy) and rice. In this policy, "we" means Owlvix Rice.

2 What we collect

Only what you choose to send us in a form:

• Your name, phone number, city, shop name or address.
• Order and sample details: the rice, bag sizes, quantity and your note.
• Selling details: crop, variety, quantity, moisture, asking price, where the grain is and when it is ready.
• Photos and videos of your rice or munji, if you add them.

Like every website, our server also keeps short technical logs (such as IP address, browser and the pages opened) to keep the site working and safe.

3 Why we use it

• To reply to your quote, sample request or offer, by phone or WhatsApp.
• To check the quality of grain you offer to sell and make you a fair price.
• To make your quality check report.
• To stop spam and misuse of the forms.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

4 Photos and the quality check

The free quality check measures your photo inside your own browser: the photo is not sent to us unless you download a report or send it with an offer.

Photos and videos you send with an offer are kept so our team can check the grain. If the AI check is switched on and you use it, your photos are also sent to Google's AI service to be analysed.

5 Who can see it

• Our own team, to handle your request.
• Companies that run services for us, such as web hosting and email, only as needed to provide them.
• Google Analytics, which counts visits and shows us how the site is used.
• Microsoft Clarity, which shows us where visitors click and scroll so we can make the site easier to use.
• The authorities, only if the law requires it.

6 How long we keep it

We keep your details for as long as we need them for your request and our business records. You can ask us to delete them at any time, unless the law requires us to keep them.

7 Cookies

The site uses cookies to keep the forms secure and remember your language, and your light or dark theme is saved in your own browser.

We also use Google Analytics. It sets cookies to count visits and show us which pages are useful, which country visitors come from and whether forms are sent. We do not use it for advertising, and it does not tell us who you are. You can block these cookies in your browser settings, or use Google's opt-out add-on.

We also use Microsoft Clarity to see how pages are used, through heatmaps and recordings of clicks and scrolling. What you type into forms is hidden from these recordings.

8 Your choices

You can ask us to show, correct or delete the information we hold about you. Contact us below and tell us the phone number you used.

9 Keeping it safe

The site uses a secure (HTTPS) connection, and only our team can open the admin area where requests are kept.

10 Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update it on this page and change the date at the top.
